1.About these terms

TheCitySet is operated by The Cheeky Lab, LLC ("we", "us", "our"). These terms apply when you book, attend or take part in a TheCitySet evening, use your Smart-Card, or are invited into the CitySet Circle. By booking or attending, you agree to them.

2.Who can attend

TheCitySet evenings are for singles aged 21 and over who are looking to meet someone. Venues may ask for photo ID, and anyone who can't show it may be refused entry by the venue.

Each evening lists an age range as a guide to who you'll meet. It's a suggestion rather than a hard rule.

3.Booking and payment

All places are booked and paid for online, in advance. Tickets are sold through Eventbrite, so Eventbrite's own terms also apply to your purchase. We don't take payment at the door.

Your booking is for you alone and can't be transferred or resold without our agreement. If you'd like to bring a friend, please book a place for each of you.

4.Rescheduling, cancellations and refunds

If you can't make your evening, contact us at info@thecityset.com and we'll always let you reschedule, whatever the notice.

If we cancel or reschedule an evening, your ticket can be refunded. Just contact us directly. Or, if you'd rather, we'll move you to the new date or another evening.

The Eventbrite listing reads "no refunds" because no one can promise love or a particular outcome from an evening. Refunds are not given because of who attended, how many matches you received, or how the evening went for you. Full details are on our Refunds & Reschedules page.

5.Changes to an evening

Occasionally we may need to change an evening's venue, time or format, or combine evenings. We'll let you know by email as soon as we can. The number of guests and the mix of men and women at any evening can vary and isn't guaranteed.

6.Shared evenings

Many of our evenings are shared by MyCheekyDate, Relish and TheCitySet. Each brand draws a different kind of guest: people who lead with humor, career-minded professionals, and locals who love their city. Guests who booked through any of the three brands may attend the same evening. We call it "One evening, three ways in."

7.Your conduct

Kindness is the house rule. By attending, you agree to follow our Conduct & Safety guidelines, your host's directions and the venue's rules.

We may refuse entry to, or remove, anyone whose behavior is rude, inappropriate, or makes other guests uncomfortable, and may permanently ban them from future evenings. Anyone removed for their conduct is not entitled to a refund or a reschedule.

8.Your Smart-Card and matches

After booking, you'll be invited to log in to your Smart-Card, which you use to mark anyone you'd like to see again. A match happens only when two people pick each other. For each match, each person sees the other's first name and email address. Your picks are otherwise private.

Please use your matches' details only to contact them about meeting again, and never share them with anyone else.

9.No guaranteed outcome

We create the room; chemistry is up to you. We don't guarantee any number of matches, a relationship, or any other outcome from an evening.

10.The CitySet Circle

The CitySet Circle is a free, invite-only community. You can't apply: our hosts invite guests at their discretion. Circle members may be invited back to evenings as our guests, at no cost, and may be considered as a match for Luvo Matchmaking's clients, also at no cost. Invitations are never automatic, and we may change Circle benefits or end a membership at any time.

11.Your safety and responsibility

You're responsible for your own conduct, what you drink, and how you get to and from each evening. We don't carry out background checks on guests. Whether you meet a match again, and where, is your decision. Please read the tips on our Conduct & Safety page.

12.Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we're not responsible for the actions of other guests, or of venues and their staff, at an evening or afterward, or for any indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability to you for any evening is limited to the price you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have by law that can't be limited.

13.Privacy

How we collect and use your information is explained in our Privacy Policy.

14.Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page, with the date shown below, is the one that applies when you book.

15.Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
