1.Who we are

TheCitySet is operated by The Cheeky Lab, LLC ("we", "us", "our"). This policy explains what information we collect when you visit our website, book or attend an evening, or use your Smart-Card, and how we use and protect it.

2.Information we collect

• Booking details: your name, email address, and the details you give when you book, such as your age range and the evening you chose. Tickets are sold through Eventbrite, which handles your payment; we don't receive or store your full card details.
• Smart-Card activity: the picks you make, and your matches.
• Messages: anything you send us by email or phone, including reports about an evening.
• Website use: basic information collected through cookies and analytics, such as the pages you visit and the device and browser you use.

3.How we use it

• To run your evening: confirm your booking, manage the guest list, and handle reschedules and refunds.
• To run your Smart-Card and share matches when two people pick each other.
• To contact you about your bookings, and, if you've agreed, about upcoming evenings.
• To invite guests into the CitySet Circle and back to evenings.
• To keep evenings safe, including acting on conduct reports and enforcing bans.
• To understand how our website is used and to improve it.
• To meet our legal obligations.

4.What your matches can see

Your picks are private. Nobody sees who you chose, and nobody knows who you didn't. When two people pick each other, each sees only the other's first name and email address. We never share your details with anyone you didn't match with.

5.Who we share it with

We don't sell your personal information. We share it only as follows:

• Within the Constellation. TheCitySet is part of the Constellation, a group of in-person dating, friendship and networking brands, hosting evenings since 2007, all operated by The Cheeky Lab, LLC. Many evenings are shared by MyCheekyDate, Relish and TheCitySet and use the same guest list and Smart-Card system. If you're invited into the CitySet Circle, your details may be shared within the group so you can be invited to other evenings and considered as a match for Luvo Matchmaking's clients.
• Service providers who help us run TheCitySet, such as our ticketing provider (Eventbrite), website host (Squarespace) and email providers. They may use your information only to provide their services to us.
• When required by law, or to protect the safety of our guests, staff or others.

6.Emails from us

We'll email you about your bookings and matches. If you've agreed to hear about upcoming evenings, you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any of those emails, or by contacting us.

7.Cookies and analytics

Our website uses cookies and similar tools to work properly and to help us understand how it's used. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some parts of the site may not work as well.

8.How long we keep it

We keep your information for as long as we need it to run evenings, maintain our guest records and meet our legal obligations. Records of conduct-related bans are kept so that bans can be enforced.

9.Keeping it secure

We use reasonable measures to protect your information. No system is completely secure, so please let us know straight away if you think your Smart-Card login has been misused.

10.Your choices and rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information, or to stop sending you marketing emails, by emailing info@thecityset.com. Depending on where you live, including California, Canada, the UK, the European Union, Switzerland, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Hong Kong and Singapore, you may have further rights under local privacy laws, and we'll honor them as the law requires. We won't treat you differently for using your rights.

11.Age

TheCitySet evenings are for adults aged 21 and over. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 21.

12.Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The version on this page, with the date shown below, is the current one.
