Choose your city on our Our Cities page, pick an evening and book online. You'll get a confirmation email, and your name goes on the guest list. All reservations are made in advance; we don't take payment at the door.

Evenings fill quickly. Email us at info@thecityset.com to join the waitlist, and check back, since spots sometimes open up at the last minute.

Arrive at the start time listed for your evening. We wait until everyone has arrived and is settled before we begin, so there's time to grab a drink and get comfortable.

Most evenings run about two hours, including a short intermission. The exact length depends on how many guests are attending, and you're welcome to stay and mingle afterward.

Most evenings welcome between 16 and 40 singles, depending on the city and the night. That's plenty of new faces without feeling overwhelming, and the rotation means you meet everyone in your group.

Dress as you would for a first date at a nice neighborhood spot. Polished and comfortable always works.

Each evening lists an age range as a guide to who you'll meet. It's a suggestion rather than a hard rule, so if you're close to the range and would enjoy the room, you're welcome.

Absolutely. Bringing a friend can make the evening more fun. Just book a place for each of you; you'll each meet the room on your own during the rotation.

Drinks are ordered from the venue. Some venues offer light bites, but food isn't included unless the event listing says so.

Your Smart-Card is your private scorecard for the evening. After booking, you'll get an email inviting you to log in. It works in your phone's browser, so there's no app to download. During the evening you mark anyone you'd like to see again.

A match happens when two people pick each other on their Smart-Cards. Make your final picks by midnight, then log back in: for each match, you'll see the other person's first name and email address so you can reach out.

No. Your picks are private. Nobody sees who you chose, and nobody knows who you didn't. Contact details are only shared when the interest is mutual.

Each conversation lasts six to seven minutes. That's long enough to get a real sense of someone and short enough that you'll meet the whole room. At larger evenings, rotations may be slightly shorter.

It happens, and it's no reflection on you; chemistry is hard to predict. Many guests come back, and guests who stand out for the right reasons are invited into the CitySet Circle and back as our guests.

A free, invite-only community. You can't apply: our hosts notice guests who put others at ease, listen well and leave people smiling, and invite them in. Circle members are invited back as our guests, here and across the Constellation, and may be considered as a match for Luvo Matchmaking's clients, at no cost. About the Circle

We call it “One evening, three ways in.” The date, venue and time are the same on every site, and each shared evening is labeled as shared on its listing. You only need one ticket.

Kindness is the house rule. We have zero tolerance for rudeness or inappropriate behavior of any kind, and anyone who falls short is removed and permanently banned, so everyone can enjoy the room.

Life happens. Email us at info@thecityset.com and we'll move you to another evening. Five days' notice or five seconds, we'll always move you, and your ticket never expires. That's The CitySet Guarantee.

You can request a full refund, directly from us. Just email info@thecityset.com; you never need to go through Eventbrite. If you'd rather, we're just as happy to move you to the new date.

Because no one can promise love or a particular outcome from an evening, so we can't refund an evening because you didn't meet someone. It never limits The CitySet Guarantee: if we cancel or reschedule, your refund comes directly from us, and if you can't make your evening, your ticket stays valid.
