Why cities

Some people just live in a city. Others love it. They know their barista by name, have a favorite bench in the park and never miss the street fair. That kind of person is easy to love, and surprisingly hard to meet on an app.

So we stopped looking for them online and started meeting them where they already are: in the neighborhoods they're proud of.

Structured, never stiff

Every TheCitySet evening is seated and host-led. Your host makes the introductions, and the room moves in one easy rotation, six to seven minutes with each person, so you meet everyone instead of hovering at the bar.

No microphones, no name tags, no bells. At the end of the night you mark who you'd like to see again on your Smart-Card, and after midnight you find out who chose you back. Mutual picks share a first name and email address, nothing more.

The mix is the point

Many of our evenings are shared by MyCheekyDate, Relish and TheCitySet. Each brand draws a different kind of guest: people who lead with humor, career-minded professionals, and locals who love their city. Sharing one room means you meet people beyond your usual type, and that's what makes the evening worth coming to.

Our hosts notice, and those guests are invited into the CitySet Circle, our free, invite-only community, and back as our guests. Every evening is backed by The CitySet Guarantee. If we cancel or reschedule, you can have a full refund, straight from us. If your plans change, five days' notice or five seconds, we'll move you, and your ticket never expires.
